Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems in commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for commercial and residential properties.
Conduct site assessments to determine the best layout for irrigation systems based on the landscape, plants, and weather conditions.
Inspect irrigation systems to ensure their proper functioning, identifying any issues or parts that need repair or replacement.
Interpret blueprints, maps, and instructions to determine work specifications and installation processes.
Program and adjust irrigation schedules according to seasonal weather conditions to ensure efficient water usage.
Test irrigation systems to ensure proper distribution and adequate coverage.
Provide training and direction to other team members when needed.
Maintain accurate records of all installations, inspections, maintenance procedures, and repairs done.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding irrigation system installations and maintenance.
Ensure work safety measures are followed at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as an Irrigation Installer or similar role.
Knowledge of various types of irrigation systems, equipment, and their installation and maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Valid driver's license.
Certifications in irrigation systems installation and repair will be a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push and pull equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to dig, plant, and perform other manual tasks for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
