We are seeking a skilled HVAC/Plumbing Technician to install and verify mechanical systems in modular homes within a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. This role includes HVAC mini-split installation, plumbing, mechanical finish work, system commissioning, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:- Install Mitsubishi mini-split HVAC systems, including indoor/outdoor units and line sets.
- Perform pressure testing, evacuation, startup, and system commissioning.
- Complete residential rough-in and finish plumbing.
- Install water heaters, energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), bath fans, dryer vents, and appliances.
- Complete mechanical punch-list items, repairs, and warranty work.
- Document vacuum readings, startup information, and installation photos.
- Verify flare torque values and compliance with manufacturer specifications and applicable building codes.
- Assist with quality control checks and inspections.
- Read blueprints and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical installation experience.
- EPA 608 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
- Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Four-day workweek (Monday–Thursday).
