Position Overview:CSH is seeking a Senior Community Investment Officer to support its new Health & Housing Initiative in California. This position will lead lending and programmatic efforts to expand supportive housing that integrates healthcare funding, including Medicaid and Behavioral Health Services Act resources. The officer will facilitate a statewide co-learning collaborative with supportive housing developers, originate and underwrite loans for multifamily supportive housing projects, and collaborate with CSH’s State Policy and Program teams to inform financing and policy strategies.
The role also provides technical assistance to partners and contributes to developing innovative funding approaches that strengthen the connection between housing and healthcare systems. The position is based in California and requires travel across the region.
Founded in 1991, CSH pioneered a model that combines affordable, stable housing with comprehensive support services for individuals experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness. CSH was established to help communities nationwide create quality supportive housing. Today, CSH operates in nearly 50 states, continuing its mission to end cycles of homelessness and institutionalization by providing quality, affordable housing, and essential services to those facing complex barriers to housing.
