The minimum and preferred requirements are listed below. While the following requirements outline the minimum qualifications, the County reserves the right to select applicants for further consideration who demonstrate the best qualifications match for the job. Education and Experience:MINIMUM: 60 semester or 90 quarter units from an accredited college with at least 30 semester or 45 quarter units in behavioral or social sciences, psychology, social work, or related field and one (1) year of case management experience in a health, social services, or community-based organization.
PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with major coursework in a related field and additional years of case management experience in a public agency.
Licenses and Certification:- The ability to obtain a valid California Class C driver’s license within ten (10) days of employment; maintain throughout employment.
- May be required to work outside normal working hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and other off‑hours shifts.
- Must successfully complete an extensive and thorough background investigation, which may include Live Scan fingerprinting prior to hire.
- DMV printout prior to hire.
- Will be required to perform disaster service activities pursuant to Government Code .
