Blue Print Specialist

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self‑motivated, and professional Blue Print Specialist to join our Blue Print team! Position Overview

Full‑Time, Hourly position. Required travel: 75%. Salary: $22.00 – $24.50 per hour.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Two years’ experience in coaching, case management, or workforce development required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications required; case‑management software experience preferred.
  • Valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required.
  • Must be able to travel within Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Eastern Kansas.
  • Must obtain and maintain certifications such as Mental Health First Aid and Financial Health Counselor.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule availability to meet employees during shifts.
  • Physical ability to lift objects up to 20 pounds and perform standing, walking, bending, and other routine tasks.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
  • Connect with new hires within their first week to introduce Blue Print and build rapport.
  • Maintain a consistent presence in employee common areas to foster accessibility and trust.
  • Coordinate availability around employee shifts to ensure flexible, meaningful engagement.
  • Facilitate the Pathways Assessment to identify employee needs, strengths, and opportunities.
  • Utilize the Self‑Sufficiency Matrix to assess stability across key life domains and assign a support level.
  • Partner with employees to co‑create personalized My Blue Print Plans, setting actionable short‑ and long‑term goals.
  • Coach employees using motivational interviewing/strengths‑based techniques on topics such as financial planning, transportation, basic tech navigation, career advancement, or life challenges.
  • Support goal setting using SMART principles and maintain accountability check‑ins based on assigned support levels.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of internal and external resources; guide employees in accessing these supports.
  • Log all interactions, goals, referrals, and time spent in the Click case‑management system.
  • Monitor and reassess employee progress at regular intervals; adjust plans as needs evolve.
  • Participate in program evaluation by capturing impact data and contributing to outcome reporting.
  • Coordinate regularly with managers to maintain alignment with staffing schedules.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and program improvement efforts.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality protocols; disclose information only under legal or ethical mandates.
  • Reinforce employee autonomy; ensure participation is voluntary.
  • Follow and enforce all MERS/Goodwill policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
