We are looking for Senior PHP developers to be part of a team, working for the international market, from Athens.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable PHP code (primarily Symfony) for backend services and APIs.

Implement and optimize database queries (MySQL, Redis).

Build and maintain integrations with external systems (POS, payment gateways, delivery platforms).

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly.

Contribute to sprint commitments and feature delivery aligned with the product roadmap.

Support junior/intermediate developers by reviewing code, giving feedback, and sharing best practices.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retros, standups) to align with Product, QA, and Frontend teams.

Help establish coding standards and reinforce architectural best practices.

Communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders and restate requirements in actionable terms.

Contribute to deployment processes (CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket).

Support environment setup and maintenance using Docker, Ansible, and AWS.

Monitor and improve system performance (query optimization, caching strategies, load handling).

Ensure application security (SQL injection prevention, authentication/authorization, vulnerability patching).

Collaborate with QA and Ops to ensure stable, scalable releases.

• Proven experience deploying and managing projects in AWS (not just exposure).
• Strong English communication and ability to clearly explain technical reasoning.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or lead within a team.
