Senior Mobile Engineer

Sports & Entertainment Startup

We’re looking for a founding-level Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the development of cross-platform mobile apps that transform how fans engage with sports & entertainment venues. You’ll be working 0→1 on React Native applications powering real-time, high-traffic consumer experiences — from ticketing and navigation to personalized in-venue services.

• Architect, build, and optimize React Native apps for iOS and Android.
• Integrate with backend services and APIs, ensuring scalability and offline-first reliability.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and oversee deployments to App Store / Google Play.
• Collaborate with product/design teams and mentor engineers.

• 5+ years in mobile engineering (3+ in React Native, production apps).
• Strong grounding in performance optimization and native integrations (payments, biometrics, location services, etc.).
• Experience with native module development bridging React Native with iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Prior startup experience building 0→1 products preferred — thrive in the grind and ambiguity of an early-stage environment.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.

• Experience with AR/VR, BLE/NFC/IoT integrations, or high-traffic consumer apps.
• Familiarity with venue/ticketing systems like Ticketmaster data.
• Contributions to open-source or React Native community.

$150-180K base + other compensation and benefits incentives
