The Camio real-time video search and alerting platform provides real-time security and business insights for safer, more efficient and profitable operations. Camio currently provides real-time video search for manufacturing, logistics operations, multi-property management, healthcare, retail, and educational institutions across 35 time zones.

As a Core Engineer, you’ll develop various parts of the Camio tech stack that processes and analyzes video jects span the entire pipeline and also touch the web app, website, API, cloud-edge infrastructure, and more. You’ll be a good fit if you enjoy working closely with other team members and feel comfortable creating and maintaining your own systems.

• 3+ years of experience with software development
• 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, C++
• Experience in designing and architecting scalable software systems
• Excellence in both technical and non-technical communication

• 3+ years of development with at least one of the major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Experience working with large scale systems such as Cassandra, Mesos, Spark, etc.
• Experience with the cloud-native stack including containers, kubernetes, service mesh, etc.
• Stream processing experience using systems like Kafka, Rabbit
  
  MQ, NATS, etc.
• Experience working with frontend frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular
• Experience working with core or applied machine learning domains such as Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision
• Good understanding of Linux kernel, drivers, and networks
• Experience in collaborating with teams, communicating with users, leading projects, and influencing decision-making at various levels
• Experience using code versioning systems such as Git
