Software Developer; Python​/.NET​/C++

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Software Developer (Python / .NET / C++).

You will join a dynamic team as a primary contributor in a challenging, fast-paced environment. The role requires a passion for backend development and a solid understanding of database solutions. You will be instrumental in developing applications that support scientific and regulatory processes, requiring a willingness to quickly learn and engage with data generation, analyses, and persistence in a regulated context.

The ability to work quickly and self-manage on a small team is highly desirable.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Python and .NET Core or C++.
• Collaborate closely with Biologists and other technical Scientists to translate complex scientific requirements into robust technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while strictly adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Perform thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications for future reference.
• Contribute to the design and data architecture for modern AI solutions and agentic workflows.
• Utilize Git for version control and Azure for agile ceremonies and task tracking.
• Maintain familiarity with essential TCP protocols, such as SMB and HTTP.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional experience in back-end software development.
• Proficiency in core programming languages:
  
  Pythonand  Coreor
  
  C++.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly
  
  Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and working from the Command Line Interface (CLI).
• Proficiency with Python data libraries (e.g., Pandas, Num Py).
• Strong understanding of database systems (SQL, No
  
  SQL) and experience with data modeling.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (Scientists/Biologists).
• Willingness to quickly learn and engage with regulatory scientist workflows and data in a regulated context.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Good understanding of modern AI solutions and frameworks, specifically focusing on data architecture for agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with essential TCP protocols like SMB and HTTP.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue Js).
• Experience in working on small, self-managed teams, demonstrating high levels of autonomy.

$56.70 - $81.00 /hr.
