Software Engineer - Robotics Perception Sensors
Seeking a skilled software engineer who can turn raw sensor data into real‑time intelligence. You’ll design algorithms that help autonomous systems understand and navigate their world, blending radar, LiDAR, camera, and GPS data into one coherent picture. If you thrive on complex systems, low‑level integration, and real‑world robotics, this is a rare chance to see your code power machines that are doing revolutionary, mission‑driven work.
Aboutthe Role
This position focuses on the perception stack – the eyes and brain of autonomous vehicles. You’ll develop algorithms for detection, tracking, sensor fusion, and state estimation. Your work will directly influence how autonomous platforms make decisions in dynamic environments. Expect to test your code in the field, tune it under real conditions, and see its impact on vehicle performance.
What You’ll Do- Design and implement perception algorithms for multi‑sensor fusion for robotics solutions
- Evaluate and integrate new sensing technologies
- Optimize computer vision and perception code for embedded execution
- Expand simulation and testing frameworks to validate perception performance
- Work closely with autonomy, UI, and operations teams to visualize and interpret environmental data
