Senior Deep Learning Software Engineer, PyTorch - Tensor

RT Performance

We are looking for a Senior Deep Learning Software Engineer with expertise in PyTorch and Tensor

RT performance optimization. NVIDIA seeks an experienced Deep Learning Engineer to analyze and improve the performance of Torch inference with Tensor

RT.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze performance issues and identify optimization opportunities inside Torch‑Tensor

    RT/Tensor

    RT.
  • Contribute features and code to NVIDIA/OSS inference frameworks including Torch‑Tensor

    RT, Tensor

    RT, and PyTorch.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams across generative AI, automotive, robotics, image understanding, and speech understanding to develop innovative inference solutions.
  • Scale performance of deep learning models across various NVIDIA accelerators, from datacenter GPUs to edge SoCs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EECS, or AI.
  • At least 4 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Excellent Python/C++ programming, software design, and engineering skills.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or Tensor Flow.
  • Experience with performance analysis and optimization.

Desired additional skills:

  • Architectural knowledge of GPU.
  • Experience with AoT or JIT compiler in deep learning inference (e.g., Torch Dynamo/Torch Inductor).
  • Experience with performance modeling, profiling, debugging, and code optimization of DL/HPC/high‑performance applications.
  • GPU programming experience and proficiency in CUDA/TileIR/CuTeDSL/Cutlass/Triton.
Compensation

Base salary range:
Level 3 – $148,000 – $235,750 USD;
Level 4 – $184,000 – $287,500 USD. Additional equity and benefits are available.
