Full Stack Product Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for full-stack Product Engineer who will architect and build core aspects of the Inventive’s platform
, shape our technical direction from day one, and own the end-to-end experience across the product. This role will be in person in our HQ in Mountain View, CA and comes with a competitive salary, benefits and meaningful equity.

We are NOT looking for someone who only wants Jira tickets, polished specs, or a big engineering team to lean on. If you need clear instructions, rigid structure, or overt amount of processes, this isn’t the role for you.

This role is a high leverage role in the following ways:

• Strategic Impact
  – you will work directly with the founders to influence technical and product direction, deciding how we scale our platform and what bets we make.
• End‑to‑End Ownership
  – Take ideas from rough concepts to production-ready systems – UI/UX, frontend components, and everything critical for to ensure our product is fast, reliable, and a joy to use.
• Customer‑Driven Development
  – Talk to customers, understand their needs, and turn feedback into technical solutions that directly impact their growth.

• Develop product features across our platform, from technical design to implementation.
• Build solutions end‑to‑end spanning the frontend (Typescript, React, Next.js) and backend (Python/Django/APIs), service and database layers.
• Be able to build reliable user interfaces, reusable components, manage app state and optimize API calls.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build a robust, world class product that delights users.
• Write high‑quality, well‑documented, and testable code while moving fast to deliver outcomes.
• Maintain and optimize our codebase for performance and user experience.

• Strong experience (5‑8 years) in a full stack engineering role.
• Strong frontend development skills (Typescript, React, Tailwind CSS)
• Obsess over building the product with best UX and quality.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrate ownership and thrive in unstructured environments.
• Ability to move quickly and meet tight deadlines.

• Hands‑on experience with Language Models and AI/ML integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.)
• Experience with Redis for caching and session management.
• Enterprise software development experience with security and compliance considerations

At Inventive, our mission is to build intelligence that helps B2B sales teams win deals. Our first product is a suite of AI agents sales teams to create winning proposals and RFP responses. About $1.4 Trillion worth of projects get allocated within the US alone and help the vendors in winning these deals with the help of our cutting AI agents.

Our founding team includes successful repeat founders & researchers from Google Deepmind, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and IIT. We graduated from Y-Combinator in the summer of 2023 and have raised a seed round from the Valley's top investors.
