Founding Full Stack Engineer

Voicepanel is a Y Combinator-backed startup transforming how companies gather feedback from their customers. Our AI-native platform empowers research and product teams to precisely measure what their customers think about any topic — products, prototypes, branding, and more. We do this by automating time-consuming & expensive processes, typically performed by research agencies, with easy-to-use software.

We are working on a $140B+ market opportunity, we’re growing fast, and we are already selling to major brands who are shifting budgets to more modern approaches for research. We are now assembling a world‑class team to help us scale. In 2025, we’ll be taking our platform to the next level by building the agent infrastructure for customer insights — enabling companies to build custom agents that bring the voice of the customer into every product decision.

Founding engineers at Voicepanel are instrumental in helping build, develop, support, and maintain many of the core systems that will set up Voicepanel for success now and into the future.

This is a great opportunity to: (1) be a founding engineer at a fast moving startup (2) push the industry forward and be at the bleeding edge, and (3) learn a ton. Our tech stack is primarily Type Script (NextJS / React / Express

JS) with Postgre

SQL database hosted by Supabase.

• Build the core systems behind Voicepanel’s AI agents
• Collaborate directly with the founders on fast-moving, high-impact projects
• Own complex technical initiatives, from architecture to implementation
• Design and ship end-to-end features across the stack (backend, frontend, agent workflows)
• Improve and scale our event-driven systems and agent orchestration pipelines
• Craft thoughtful interfaces that help customers capture and act on rich feedback

• 10+ years software development experience
• 5+ years experience with Type Script
• Comfortable working independently across the stack whether work involves the backend, frontend, infrastructure, event-driven systems, scripts, APIs, testing automation, working with AI models etc.
• You desire meaning and impact in your work
• You’re ready to put in the startup hours

• You have a proven track record of architecting, designing, and owning scalable and smart systems from scratch, providing solid foundations for other engineers to build off of.
