We are looking for a Principal or Senior Backend Engineer to join the founding engineering team. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role focused on designing and implementing backend systems for a real‑time, multi‑chain trading platform. You'll play a key role in building scalable infrastructure, shaping product architecture, and ensuring exceptional performance across all components of the trading experience.

You'll work with in a modern Type Script‑based stack, collaborating closely with product, frontend, and research teams to deliver a world‑class trading experience for crypto‑native users.

Architect and develop backend systems for a multi‑chain trading and liquidity aggregation platform.

Design, implement, and maintain APIs, real‑time data pipelines, and microservices supporting core trading features.

Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance across high‑throughput trading workflows.

Collaborate with frontend and product teams to define and deliver customer‑facing functionality.

Lead and contribute to systems design, code reviews, and technical decision‑making.

Build robust integrations with blockchain data sources and smart contracts.

Participate in optimizing Dev Ops processes and cloud infrastructure for secure, efficient deployment.

510+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in backend or distributed systems roles.

Advanced proficiency in Type Script (primary language) and experience with Node.js
.

Deep understanding of backend architecture, data modelling, and system design.

Experience building production applications from scratch in high‑growth environments.

Strong familiarity with real‑time data pipelines and technologies such as PostgreSQL
, Python
, Kafka
, and Kubernetes/Helm
.

Proven experience with modern cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).

Strong crypto‑native background comfortable working with smart contracts, trading systems, and on‑chain data.

Practical knowledge of Solana or similar high‑performance blockchain environments.

Proficiency in Rust (strongly preferred).

Prior experience in financial or trading technology environments.

Familiarity with Web3 protocols, on‑chain liquidity aggregation, or decentralized exchange architecture.
