Position: AI Vibe Coding Experience Lead
Location: Branson

At Jack Henry, we’re more than a technology company; we’re a force for good in financial services. We’re redefining how community banks and credit unions connect with the people they serve. Our mission is rooted in people-inspired innovation, empowering financial institutions to deliver seamless, secure, and human-centered experiences. We deliver cutting-edge solutions that are paving the way for the next generation of digital banking and payments, but our true impact begins with our associates.

If you’re ready to help transform an industry and grow with a company that values purpose, collaboration, and excellence, then we’d love to meet you.

The AI Vibe Coding Experience Lead will act as the technical bridge between non-technical internal builders and our infrastructure. In this role, you will shift the operational burden away from engineering teams by designing the templates, patterns, and libraries that allow non-technical staff to build and deploy vibe coded applications safely. You will establish and manage an internal application zone for these apps, translating business ideas into specifications that meet our security, monitoring, and integration standards.

This is a high-level position that requires system analysis and research to provide support to users who are new to software development. Additionally, you will mentor less experienced peers and act as an escalation point for defects and troubleshooting.

This position may be worked remotely from any of our office locations in Allen, TX;
Lenexa, KS;
Springfield, MO;
Monett, MO;
Birmingham, AL; or Louisville, KY. May require occasional travel, up to 10% for meetings, trainings or conferences. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.

What you’ll be responsible for
  • Acts as an integration subject matter expert and advisor encompassing a wide range of JH products.
  • Consults internal and external groups by explaining product behaviors and introducing groups to integration options.
  • Creates design documentation, educational material, and presentations.
  • Assists in training and mentoring less experienced peers.
  • Acts as project lead on more complex integration solutions for JH internal teams, customers, or third-party integrators.
  • Acts as escalation point for less experienced peers.
  • Performs system analysis and programming activities, which may require extensive research and analysis.
  • Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.
  • Provides both individual and budget-level tasks and product effort estimates/costs.
  • Creates required technical documentation.
  • Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards. Participates in the definition and documentation of standards.
  • Collaboratively works with the customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects.
  • Researches problems and develops solutions to the problems.
  • Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
  • Contributes to defining and improving department processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in software engineering, including use of .Net, Java, Golang, and/or Node.js.
  • Experience in a consulting or customer-facing role.
  • Experience with generative AI within a software development environment.
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to communicate to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to attend business meetings, professional conferences, and client site visits.
What would be nice for you to have
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working in the financial and/or fintech industry.
  • Experience with Cursor or other vibe coding platforms.
  • Experience consulting to teams operating in legacy technologies.

If you got this far, we hope you’re feeling excited about this opportunity. Even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement on this posting, we still encourage you to apply. We’re looking for passionate, driven individuals who align with our mission and can bring unique perspectives to our team.
