Helicopter Flight Instructor & Commercial Pilot at Heli Centre Helicopters – Netherlands
European Heli Center is seeking an experienced helicopter flight instructor to join our team at our Lelystad base in the Netherlands. Our operation consists of approximately 65% ATO activities and 35% AOC/SPO operations. During the spring and summer season, we provide VIP helicopter transport for major events such as Kingsday and various Formula 1 races.
This is a full‑time position with a rotating schedule of 7 days on, 2 days off, followed by 3 days on and 2 days off.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct practical flight training for PPL, CPL, and type rating students
- Perform charter, sightseeing, and VIP flights
- Take full operational responsibility for assigned AOC/SPO and ATO flights, including flight planning, fueling, and pre‑flight checks
- Complete all related administrative tasks for both student training flights and AOC/SPO operations
- Valid EASA CPL(H) with FI(H)
- Minimum 200 hours of FI(H) experience
- Proven experience in commercial helicopter operations
- Instructional experience on either the R44 or Cabri G2
- Proficiency in Dutch or willingness to learn the Dutch language
- English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher
- Flexibility and ability to manage last‑minute operational changes
- Willingness to work weekends
- Strong team player with the ability to work in a close‑knit environment
- One or more of the following EASA type ratings:
Cabri G2, R44, R66, EC120, EC130/AS350, H135 (P3H/T3H) - Experience in safety or compliance functions
- EASA FI for FI qualification
- EASA IR
