Store Delivery Expert - Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within St. Charles and surrounding areas
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and route planning tools to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Load, unload, and transport packages while ensuring products arrive in excellent condition
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery point, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, timestamps, and delivery confirmations
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback
- Organize and prioritize multiple deliveries to meet daily targets and customer expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic technology
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery schedules
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and customer-focused mindset
- Knowledge of traffic safety regulations and defensive driving practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
