Job Description
The packer/picker is responsible for efficiently and accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse environment. This role involves using various tools and technologies to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment, while also maintaining a high standard of safety and productivity.
Duties & Responsibilities- Select and retrieve order items from storage shelves or designated locations using barcodes, serial numbers, SKU, etc. Picked items along with the tray can vary between 15-50 lbs. The tray must then be transferred to a cart for distribution.
- Update stock inventory after retrieving picked items.
- Manage stock control, including item replenishing and storage.
- Perform general warehouse duties when necessary.
- Maintain a positive, can‑do attitude every day.
- Show willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understand and read basic English, as picking sheets are in English.
- Be able to multitask.
- Experience in manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to interpret a variety of written or oral instructions is required.
- Ability to understand safety requirements and cautions.
- Employees frequently walk or stand for long periods.
- Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
