Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Location: Branson, MO, United States, 65616
Employment Type: Contract (Field Work - 6 Positions Available)
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position SummaryThe Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient inventory control within the warehouse environment. This role includes monitoring stock levels, conducting audits, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring data integrity in inventory records. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Ensure proper material put-away and accurate product selection.
- Generate inventory reports and communicate findings to the Operations team.
- Verify stock information, serial numbers, and product identification details.
- Store and retrieve equipment and/or parts for work orders.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on departmental processes.
- Maintain high-quality performance and compliance with company standards.
- Operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment for inventory tasks (if required).
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance inventory management processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned, based on business needs.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor when engaging with customers or other departments.
- Experience in high-volume distribution, manufacturing, or technical service operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse systems.
- Previous experience operating warehouse distribution equipment.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
