Warehouse Associate - Document Shredder

8:30 AM - 05:00 PM, Monday to Friday,9-hour shifts (includes 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks)

You will support secure the processing and destruction of all material delivered to the shred plant which includes sorting, shredding material bygrade and lifting heavy material (70lbs to 100lbs) and/or push as much as300lbs wheeled containers.

• Rolland transport wheeled bins of varying sizes to paper shredders orgranulators
• Secure bins onto automated electric lift platforms and activate lift mechanisms for emptying
• Remove empty bins and return them to designated areas
• Pushand maneuver bins weighing up to 350 lbs in shredding areas and up to 525lbs in granulator areas
• Liftand carry boxes of electronic media and place materials into granulatorsas needed
• Unload boxes from pallets and empty contents weighing up to 50 lbs
• Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and follow all safety procedures
• Wear required PPE and comply with all facility safety requirements

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

• Willingness to comply with all safety and dress code requirements

• Attire must be presentable and appropriate for the working environment
• Protective footwear is required and must meet ASTM F2413-11 standards for safety toecaps and have a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or"Best"
• Safety gear, including high-visibility vest and safety glasses, will be provided and must be worn at all times
