Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — Home Instead | Watertown, SD
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Watertown, SD (serving Northeastern South Dakota)
Provide in-home nursing care for senior clients — medication administration, wound care, monitoring vital signs, assisting with chronic condition management, and other nursing tasks within LPN scope of practice.
Conduct regular client assessments and help implement individualized care plans in collaboration with office care coordinators and direct caregivers.
Support and coordinate with caregiving staff; assist with training, guidance, and oversight to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
Maintain compliance with South Dakota state regulations and internal quality standards.
Document all care activities thoroughly and maintain accurate client and medical records.
Collaborate daily with the office team to coordinate services and client needs, including scheduling, follow-ups, and communication with family/caregivers as needed.

Starting LPN (entry-level / minimal experience): approx. $24–26 per hour
LPN with some experience (2–4 years): approx. $26–30 per hour

Strong communication skills, compassion, and a genuine desire to help seniors maintain independence and dignity.
Ability to perform routine nursing tasks, assess client needs, document care, and coordinate with caregivers and office staff.
Reliable, responsible, and comfortable working in home settings (clients’ houses).
Basic organizational skills and ability to manage documentation and care plans.
