As a Civil Engineer at Atwell, your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, including the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in residential, commercial, and/or industrial land development!
- Site Plan Excellence: Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
- Data Analysis: Dive into project survey data to assess existing site conditions, considering legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations such as hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence reports, engineer’s opinion of probable costs, project schedules, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm sewer reports, permit applications, soils reports, earthwork volumes, Storm
CAD and Water
CAD reports, and preliminary grading. - Construction Support: Provide construction‑related services including permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals. Organize site and construction plans under senior staff guidance.
- Engineering Software Mastery: Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related packages efficiently, aligning with established standards.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong written and verbal skills when collaborating with staff, ensuring seamless project coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience
- EIT preferred
- AutoCAD Civil 3D, Water
CAD, Storm
CAD, and Sewer
CAD preferred
Pay Range: $78,700 - $118,200 USD
