LEAF Financial Analyst

Overview

Provides pricing ideas and solutions to Sales, working with pre-determined targets for pricing, that align LEAF (LEAF Commercial Capital Incorporated) goals with our customer’s goals. Works with various sales teams and other areas within LEAF to compile data used for rate analyses and ROI (Return on Investment) and ROE (Return on Equity) analyses. Develops processes and efficiencies within the department to sustain expected levels of customer service in a dynamic rate environment.

• Complete analyses and provide input to Sales into strategic decisions on pricing of LEAF products on a macro basis.
• Work with Sales and management to support daily individual transactional pricing inquiries.
• Complete return on investment (ROI) and return on equity (ROE) analyses to support lease and loan product pricing and profitability.
• Administer the LEAF pricing rate repository to maintain records supporting our market competitiveness for pricing.
• Complete ad-hoc reporting, including variance and trend analyses of other financial data as requested by management.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 years’ working experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 years’ working experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $43.34 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
