As a First Student Part‑Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community by safely transporting students to and from school. You will be there at the start of the students' day with a before‑school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring them home. No experience as a bus driver is required – we provide industry‑leading training to help you succeed.
Responsibilities- A split shift: early morning before‑school pickup followed by an after‑school drop‑off, with a few free hours in between.
- A guaranteed shift per school day; no nights or weekends required unless desired.
- Additional hours earned through trips and charters when available.
- $20.27 per hour starting wage, based on experience.
- Bonus: $750 if the CLP is presented within 7 days of completing the Virtual CLP class.
- Bonus: $250 if the CLP is presented within 14 days of completing the Virtual CLP class.
- Medical, Dental, & Vision benefits plus 401(k) retirement savings plan (benefits may vary by location or CBA).
- No experience necessary – paid CDL training provided.
- Child‑Ride‑Along Program – ideal for working parents.
- Individuals without a college degree or high school diploma.
- Those with military experience.

- At least 21 years old.
- Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of experience.
This position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety‑sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
