Overview

The Receptionist will welcome clients, answer phones, and support the client experience at H&R Block. This may be a seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist role with a focus on providing excellent service and helping connect clients with the right tax professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner
  • Match clients with the best-suited tax professional for their needs
  • Schedule clients according to their preferences
  • Help ensure all client needs are met during service, whether in person, over the phone, or virtually
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organize resources with the team
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations
  • Sales/marketing experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office
