We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in Theodore, AL. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and protecting the safety of team members.

The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. In addition, the Service Manager ensures complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely, high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance. They direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, and drive Mavis’ sales initiatives. The Service Manager communicates directly with customers, assesses customer needs, provides information about requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, and strives to meet customer expectations.

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
