Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are working confidentially with a General Contractor delivering a major ground-up data center development in the Mobile, Alabama area and are looking for an experienced Senior Project Scheduler to join the project team.

This is a high-profile, client-facing position for someone who can take real ownership of the schedule, communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and drive accountability across the project team.

An excellent per diem package is available for candidates travelling or relocating to the project.

Recent data center construction experience is essential.

The Role

This is not a back-office scheduling position.

We are looking for a Scheduler who can own the programme, lead schedule conversations and work directly with senior client representatives, Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents and trade partners.

You will be expected to understand what is happening in the field, challenge the project team when required and clearly communicate schedule risks, delays and recovery strategies.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Developing, maintaining and driving the master construction schedule
  • Managing detailed schedules across civil, structural, MEP, commissioning and turnover
  • Leading schedule review meetings with project leadership and senior client stakeholders
  • Driving accountability against key milestones and deliverables
  • Identifying critical path risks, delays and schedule impacts
  • Developing recovery schedules and mitigation strategies
  • Reviewing and integrating subcontractor and trade schedules
  • Producing schedule updates, look-aheads, progress reports and milestone tracking
  • Supporting change management and delay impact analysis
  • Coordinating closely with commissioning teams through startup, testing and turnover
  • Presenting schedule status clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders
  • Ensuring project leadership has accurate and up-to-date schedule information
What We’re Looking For
  • Recent data center or mission critical construction experience is essential
  • Strong experience working within the US construction market
  • General Contractor or Construction Manager background strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of critical path scheduling, recovery planning and delay analysis
  • Understanding of civil, structural, MEP and commissioning sequencing
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable leading meetings with senior US-based clients and project leadership
  • Ability to challenge teams professionally and drive accountability
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work full-time on site in Mobile, Alabama
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States
The Package
  • Opportunity to work directly with senior project and client leadership

This role will suit a confident, experienced Scheduler who wants to be heavily involved in project delivery rather than simply maintaining the schedule.

If you have recent data center scheduling experience, strong P6 skills and are comfortable operating in a highly visible client-facing environment, we would be keen to speak with you.
