Position details:

• Follow the courses of study approved by the State Board of Education and curriculum guides adopted by Chickasaw City Board of Education.
• Understand and assist in upholding and enforcing school rules and administrative regulations.
• Abide by the standards established for teachers, professional and personal conduct by the printed and published AEA Code of Ethics.
• Assist in fostering student attitudes through teaching, promoting citizenship, self-discipline, morality, and participation.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, board policy, and administrative regulations.

Applicants Must Be Able To:

• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, board policy, and administrative regulations.

Duties Include:

• Teaching selected core and/or elective classes.
• Evaluate student progress regularly.
• Maintain a professional, cooperative relationship with parents and the community.
• Collaborate with staff in planning school activities, instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
• Perform other duties as required for the safe and effective operation of the school, as requested by administration.
