Cottage Hill Kids exists to partner with parents to lead kids to know, love, and follow Jesus.

Position Overview

The Preschool Ministry Coordinator will assist the Kids Ministry Director in overseeing and managing programming and volunteers for Cottage Hill Kids ministries and events for ages birth through four years old. The successful candidate will provide leadership and support of our preschool ministries in the areas of teaching, worship, volunteer coordination, event planning, curriculum preparation, classroom management, administration, and safety.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Help to create a safe, positive, nurturing, and age-appropriate learning environment for our preschool ministries.
  • Build positive, professional, and supportive relationships with families.
  • Assist in planning and preparing preschool curriculum and media.
  • Assist in planning seasonal events and programs.
  • Ensure all safety policies are followed in preschool ministry areas.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, supporting, and retaining preschool ministry volunteers.
  • Assist in ordering, organizing, and maintaining resources and equipment for preschool ministries.
  • Use various software and technology for planning, organizing, and maintaining records and data for preschool ministries.
  • Assist with other Kids Ministry administrative tasks and event planning as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Kids Ministry Director.
Basic Qualifications & Expectations
  • Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for leading children to know, love, and follow Jesus.
  • Have experience teaching and leading in ministry.
  • Work well with parents, volunteers, church staff, and children.
  • Work on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, some weekdays, and at special events.
  • Have knowledge, familiarity, and experience with computers, Microsoft Office, and Canva, as well as the ability to learn new technologies.
