Assistant Women's Basketball Coach (Two part-time contingent positions)
St. Mary's College of Maryland is accepting résumés for two part-time contingent positions as Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. Responsibilities include serving as assistant coach in a competitive NCAA Division III women's basketball program. Duties include assisting in all areas of coaching the women's basketball team including, but not limited to, recruiting, organizing and planning practices and game strategies. These are part-time (15-20 hours per week) contingent positions with no benefits, running from October through April.
The pay for these positions is $600 to $1,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
- Assist in coaching the women's basketball program.
- Recruiting, organizing and planning practices and game strategies.
- Support various coaching duties as assigned to contribute to program success.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Knowledge of NCAA and United East Conference rules and regulations.
- Experience in collegiate coaching is preferred.
- Experience with making and editing videos, designing graphics, and familiarity with Excel are preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver s license. Ability to travel, work nights and weekends, and lift approximately 30 pounds is required.
- Any combination of acceptable education and experience may be considered. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
