Position Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced and licensed Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in consulting and wastewater system design. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, project leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to support a variety of municipal and industrial wastewater projects.
Qualifications:o Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred) o Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license requiredo Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, including wastewater treatment projectso Strong knowledge of pumps, HVAC, piping systems, and mechanical equipment used in water and wastewater facilitieso Proven consulting experience with public agencies or private clientso Excellent communication, technical writing, and project coordination skillsPreferred Skills:o
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical modeling softwareo Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability principles in mechanical designo Project management experience is a plusResponsibilities:o Lead and support the design and analysis of mechanical systems for wastewater treatment plants and related infrastructureo Provide engineering consulting services including feasibility studies, technical reports, and client presentation so Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and environmental standard so Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, and process engineerso Oversee equipment selection, specifications, and procurement supporto Conduct site visits for assessments, inspections, and construction supporto Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverablesWhy Join Us?We
