You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Graduate Manufacturing Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following :

Project work supporting process improvements in the Manufacturing Engineering ecosystem

Daily ME operations, including work order management, implementation of work process improvements to address non-conformities, and providing shop-floor engineering support to operations and quality.

You will gain proficiency in Airbus manufacturing engineering computer systems, such as document control systems, SAP Manufacturing Execution System, Zamiz, and more.

You will learn how to incorporate engineering principles and analysis in a manufacturing environment, where the design of the aircraft comes to life, as well as develop critical interpersonal skills as you interact with colleagues on the shop floor, in the local engineering offices, and with colleagues in our European ME centers.

Throughout this program, you will develop as a professional through a series of rotational placements designed to support your professional development. Placements could include : different phases of the manufacturing process as an ME, rotations through the quality department, or in adjacent departments and / or sites dependent on your personal development needs as determined by you and your manager.

Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.

Throughout the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Graduate Manufacturing Engineer!

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have :

A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study such as Mechanical or Aerospace engineering

Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Engineering or Manufacturing Operations (0 - 3 years of experience)

Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation

The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.

Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship
