Meet the team:
As a CAT2 member of the Flight line Quality team, you are responsible for the execution and verification of the Quality activities in the Flight line phase, starting from the handover from the FAL, through the flight test phase, until the final delivery to the customer. This includes the demonstration of aircraft system integrity and conformity in accordance with the design specification by the verification of functional test procedures and declares the aircraft ready for the production flight testing phase.

Your responsibilities- Evaluate test results by documenting the tests performed and the test.
- Perform special inspections imposed by Restrictions and/or Special.
- Serve as the flight test team Quality representative in technical review.
- Attend meetings with Liaison, FAL/Flight line, Design Office, Programs, and Quality teams.
- Perform ground checks, static system tests, APU run, low and high power engine run, low speed test and compass swing; in accordance with the FTP and in coordination with the flight test department.
- Support improvement measures. Clarify problems with engineering, customers, and suppliers.
- Responsible for Closure of Transport Canada Snags.
- Perform and sign the application for the FAA C of
A. - Perform and approve service bulletins.
- Perform MRB approval in the non-conformance management system.
- Revise and approve flight permit.
- Ensure aircraft conforms to its approved design data.
- Support customer deliveries for any aspect of aircraft conformity and release for flight.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Flight line quality inspector in the field of aeronautics.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Airline experience preferred.
- Valid FAA A&P or TCCA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M2 license required.
- FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
- Valid A220 type rating preferred.
- Vision: adequate to read material on computer screens, and aircraft gauges. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions.
- Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings. Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.
- Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.
