What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Treatment Plant Operator Trainee or equivalent education and experience
- Certification in water or wastewater treatment by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM)
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- Ability to meet established medical and physical standards for the role

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Possession of a Grade III or IV Certificate in Water or Wastewater Treatment
- Experience in operating water or wastewater treatment plants
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
