Quality Conformance Manager – A220

Role at Airbus Aircraft, based in Mobile, Alabama, United States. You will work with the Operations and Procurement teams to ensure adherence to quality requirements and validate supplier issues raised by our operations.

• Influence and facilitate communications between internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a change agent to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Investigate and identify future risks.
• Communicate and synthesize complex situations for presentation to management.
• Work with suppliers located in different countries and serve as Airbus representative to A220 suppliers.

• Perform additional duties as assigned (10% of time).

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance/control, manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering or similar in aviation industry.
• Knowledge of AS9100, TCCA, FAA, and EASA standards.
• Strong problem‑solving, leadership, autonomy and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate with suppliers across time zones.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, Google Suite.
• English fluency for negotiation-level discussion and written communication.

• Certifications in quality management, aviation safety or regulatory compliance.
• Basic IT programming knowledge and analytics ability.

10% domestic and international travel required.

• Standard office and production equipment handling up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and use PPE as required.
