What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Lead and guide a team of engineering professionals to develop and deliver completed engineering requirements for assigned projects
  • Build and maintain a high‑performing engineering team with the necessary technical expertise to support multiple aircraft modification activities
  • Manage the annual Performance and Development (P&D) process, including performance assessments and talent management
  • Collaborate with global counterparts on engineering methods, certification, compliance, and process improvements
  • Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, regulatory requirements, and customer contract stipulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • B.S. degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautic, Civil, or Electrical Engineering)
  • Minimum of 13 years of experience within the aviation industry, specifically in aircraft cabin engineering and development processes
  • At least 5 years of technical leadership experience
  • Experience in cabin equipment and cabin integration
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience leading a technical team of aviation personnel
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of design, certification, and qualification requirements related to aircraft cabins
  • Ability to mentor and understand principles within the assigned discipline
  • Familiarity with safety management systems in aviation
