  - Employment Requirements:
  • We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
• Education Requirements:
  • Must be a high school graduate (or equivalent).
  • Must have completed a recognized Surgical Technologist training program or have completed on the job training in the OR with a performance evaluation.
• Job Requirements:
  • One year of operating room scrub experience is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support preferred.

  • Experience in Orthopedic, Urology, ENT and outpatient surgery preferred.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and work compatibly with all physicians and staff.

  • Possess strong organizational skills and a clear understanding of the importance of cost effectiveness in an outpatient surgery center.

  • Must be flexible in job duties and work schedule.

  • Must have the knowledge and clinical skills to perform the job duties of a Surgical Technologist.

  • Knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation is required.

  • Must have an aptitude for understanding, operating, and troubleshooting machines and equipment.

Qualifications EducationRequired

High School or better.
