Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL. The role involves exceptional customer service, skilled specimen collections, and representation of the company. Rotating weekend and holiday shifts are scheduled.

Monday - Friday 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays.

6801 Airport Blvd - Mobile, AL.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation required
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Successful completion of medical surveillance testing including TB testing, proof of immunity or vaccination for Hepatitis B, Varicella, MMR, and color blindness deficiency testing if required. Labcorp will consider reasonable accommodations.
