This full‑time day shift inpatient pharmacy technician position’s duties include IV compounding, automated cabinet replenishment, order preparation and medication distribution. Weekend work requires 1 of every 3 weekends, and the shift hours are 7 am – 3:30 pm. Springhill Medical Center Inpatient Pharmacy supports over 200 inpatients daily, an extensive outpatient surgical department, and one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the Mobile area.
New employees will be trained to work with pharmacy automation, compound IV admixtures, and use Springhill’s integrated hospital information system.

Pre‑Employment Requirements- We are a drug‑free facility. Passing a pre‑employment drug screening is required.
- High School Graduate
- Basic math skills required for compounding IVs
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to flex with department scheduling
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform moderate physical work exerting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
