We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with providers and patients during various clinical procedures and provide administrative support to the clinical satellite team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Core Responsibilities- Patient Education & Support:
Explains procedures while offering compassionate guidance. - Treatment Coordination:
Schedules appointments, creates patient treatment calendars, and coordinates with the team to manage cycle logistics. - Communication Hub:
Acts as the primary contact for patients, answering questions and relaying information between the patient and the medical team. - Administrative Duties:
Manages patient files, ensures accurate documentation, and may assist with insurance verification and prior authorizations. - Procedure Assistance:
May perform tasks such as blood draws, or assist providers with procedures including IUIs, ultrasounds, biopsies, post‑op exams, and more. - Cross‑Functional Tasks:
Restock supplies, maintain equipment, and clean clinical areas. Adhere to infection‑control policies, ensure a safe work environment, and support cross‑functional tasks, including training new team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program (state certification preferred).
- At least 6 months of experience in a physician practice preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially.
- Availability to work at multiple locations as needed.
- Compassion & Empathy: A warm, understanding, and professional demeanor for sensitive patient interactions.
- Organization & Multitasking:
Ability to manage multiple patients and complex, simultaneous cases. - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written skills to interact with diverse patients and staff. - Attention to Detail:
Meticulous in handling complex medical records and কর্ম procedures.
