The Workday Integrations Student Senior Architect is a strategic technical leader and subject matter expert within the Integrations Student practice. This role focuses on architecting and delivering innovative technical solutions for Workday Student implementations, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Senior Architect partners closely with client technical leadership and internal functional teams to define integrations strategies, design scalable architectures, and guide technical decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Student Functional Practice to define and align integrations strategies for diverse project implementation scenarios.
  • Partner with client technical leadership to design and articulate a comprehensive technical roadmap for their Workday Student implementation.
  • Lead technical solutioning for complex integrations and architecture challenges, ensuring scalability and compliance with Workday standards.
  • Communicate and influence project teams across all levels, presenting solution options and guiding decision‑making for technical work streams.

  • Promote a team‑oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment that drives high client satisfaction levels.
Sales & Pre‑Sales Support
  • Support RFP responses, orals, and pursuit processes by providing technical solutioning, scoping, and estimations.
  • Review Statements of Work (SOWs) for accuracy and alignment with proposed solutions.
Relationship Building & Influence

  • Identify and foster business development opportunities through trusted advisor relationships.
Additional Duties & Tasks
  • Serve as the technical architect for Workday Student implementations, providing leadership and guidance on integrations strategy and solution design.
  • Lead the integrations workstream on Workday Student projects, managing technical deliverables, coordinating with functional teams, and ensuring successful execution from design through deployment.
  • Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and interface designs.
  • Review and validate integrations designs and technical approach to ensure compliance with Workday standards and best practices.
  • Conduct technical design reviews and provide direction on coding standards, error handling, and performance optimization.

  • Collaborate with client technical leadership to define technical roadmaps and resolve complex architecture challenges.
  • Provide oversight during testing, cutover, and post‑go‑live support for integrations.
  • Contribute to practice innovation by developing reusable assets, templates, and accelerators for Workday Student integrations.
