Our client is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to support and manage IT projects through effective coordination of activities, resource management, and stakeholder communication. This role partners with IT Project Managers, internal teams, vendors, and other departments to ensure projects align with organizational objectives. Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing the IT Change Request process and managing IT communications and presentations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding all IT systems and information.
  • Comply with all safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing project plans for medium to large‑scale initiatives, including complex timelines, requirements, and resource management.
  • Coordinate efforts between internal IT teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation such as project requests, task lists, and status reports.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Track timelines and deliverables using project management tools.
  • Actively contribute to project success through collaboration and problem‑solving.
  • Monitor project progress through effective risk and issue management.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings, including project kick‑offs, status updates, product demonstrations, and Change Advisory Board meetings.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Prepare and distribute timely project updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage communications related to project changes, risks, and issues to ensure transparency.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up‑to‑date project documentation.
  • Participate in business analysis activities and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Assist in developing training and support materials.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Project Management Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain and update Master Service Agreement documentation.
  • Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, hardware, and software, across projects.
  • Monitor resource availability and adjust project plans as necessary.
  • Assist with IT solution reviews and testing as needed.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and achieve intended value.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or project management.
