Maron Marvel has an immediate opening for an associate attorney to join the Mobile, Alabama office. We are seeking a civil litigator with 2‑5 years of experience for our Alabama litigation practice group. Successful candidates will have exceptional research, writing, and litigation skills, and the ability to handle a broad spectrum of civil cases.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Proactive case management from start to finish in both state and federal courts.
  • Drafting of pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive motions.
  • Comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations.
  • Deposition taking of key fact witnesses including Plaintiffs.
  • Preparation of case updates and handling of client communications as requested.
  • Ability to work closely with paralegals to ensure efficient case management.
Qualifications
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice in Alabama. Bar admission in Mississippi is a plus.
  • 2‑5 years litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to manage caseload proactively from start to finish.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to self‑manage and work in a team environment.
  • Strong research ability and written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organization and problem‑solving skills.
  • Desire to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to continued client development.
