Material Handler (Flex Shift) - ONeal Steel / Mobile, AL

O'Neal Steel has an opening for a Flex Shift Material Handler at our Mobile, AL facility.

• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment, including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Set up and operate processing equipment such as burning, band saws, plate roll forming, and digibender.
• Read, interpret, and follow work instructions and blueprints.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper, and micrometer.
• Convert fractions to decimals and vice versa, add and subtract fractions and decimals.
• Provide high-quality work to all internal and external customers.

Must work 1st shift for training (Mon-Fri 6 AM-2 PM) and then work a flex schedule, with overtime as needed.

• Pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Licenses & Certifications (Preferred):
  Driver’s License, forklift certification, overhead crane certification.
• Experience operating a range of material handling equipment, setting up processing equipment, using measuring tools, and reading work instructions and blueprints.
