A&P Mechanic 5+ Years (H/F) - SAFRAN USA INC.

Mission Description- Assemble (install or dis‑assemble) nacelles, engine systems, nacelle components or equipment in accordance with the defined process, using all recommended means while respecting quality, HSE and planning requirements.
- Ensure the availability and conformity of documentation (complete file and coherent indices) required for assembly/dismantling operations.
- Ensure availability and validity of production means, products used and necessary parts.
- Report any failure.
- Handle nacelle elements to make them available on the workstation / tool mounting.
- Install all nacelle and engine hardware including rivets, screws, bolts, nuts, etc.
- Adjust elements following the settings of the nacelle after engine installation and on delivery trolley equipment.
- Carry out touch‑up painting and minor cosmetic improvement repairs or rework.
- Complete associated documents to guarantee traceability of operations carried out.
- Maintain workstation, tool and work area in accordance with FOD policy both on site and at the customer’s facility.
- Identify and report in real time all problems encountered and HSE risks to the manager, along with any disruptions from normal operating procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement actions of the production process.
- Engage in real‑time problem resolution activity.
- Be willing to perform any task and/or job requirements handed down by upper operations managers and follow instructions provided by leadership to achieve team goals and satisfy customer needs.
- General aeronautical knowledge and strong interest in the aircraft sector.
- Good knowledge of techniques for adjustment, assembly and installation of aviation‑related hardware and equipment.
- Understanding of quality policy, standards and continuous‑improvement tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents (ranges, instruction sheets).
- Willingness to travel abroad for extended periods for training and support.
- Experience or skills in leading a team to complete tasks and provide direction.
