Aircraft Systems Installer/Mechanic A220 (Contract)

Responsibilities- Prepare mechanical components at the station, workplace, or aircraft parking space.
- Mark, prepare, assemble, adapt, torque, and secure mechanical components and parts.
- Inspect bonding according to orders, GTI, drawings, and specifications.
- Check system functions.
- Specialize in the following areas:
- VTP and HTP installation; hydraulic lines installation.
- Installation in the belly fairing and flap area.
- Installation concerning air‑conditioning and fuel system.
- MLG & tank test.
- Gauging test.
- Vision: adequate to read material on computer screens and identify individuals.
- Hearing: sufficient to engage in conversation in office settings and hear safety alerts.
- Speaking: ability to engage in conversations in person and electronically, delivering information to groups of varying size.
- Equipment Operation: able to operate personal and office electronic equipment; work on jigs at fuselage height of 15 feet and hydraulic lifts up to 40 feet.
- Carrying: occasionally carry up to 55 lbs (25 kg) for production tasks.
- Lifting: occasionally lift up to 55 lbs (25 kg).
- Pushing/Pulling: able to push or pull items in office areas.
- Sitting: able to sit for extended periods at the computer and in meetings.
- Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items on bottom shelves.
- Standing: able to stand for extended periods.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation production or equivalent.
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
