Salary range: $56,840 – $89,320 per year (USD)
Responsibilities- Oversee the manufacturing operation, managing employees, planning, and making changes according to the production schedule.
- Promote safety, support and communicate company goals, rules, and standards to employees.
- Promote lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
- Assume responsibility for the development and implementation of effective production department planning, policies, and procedures.
- Assist senior management in developing short‑ and long‑term goals and objectives and provide suggestions and recommendations.
- Participate in developing department policies and procedures and ensure that they support and complement company‑wide strategic objectives.
- Conduct periodic reviews of existing policies, ensuring they are updated and in accordance with evolving production and quality standards.
- Assume responsibility for the efficient, timely, and accurate completion of production functions.
- Oversee production and assembly processes; supervise assembly, inspection, and shipment of products.
- Monitor and supervise production quality and inspection of products, identifying problems and resolving them quickly and effectively.
- Regulate workflow to ensure maximum production capacity, monitoring the floor production schedule to meet product deadlines.
- Ensure that production functions are completed in accordance with established production, safety, and quality standards.
- Effectively supervise assigned personnel, ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide leadership through effective goal setting, delegation, and communication.
- Direct and assign personnel, providing assistance and support as needed.
- Train, advise, and counsel employees on current production methods.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years).
- Strong understanding of production procedures and Quality Control Standards and systems.
- 7 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, plus 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and ERP system.
- Well‑organized, with planning and time‑management skills, quality oriented, and problem solving.
- Ability to lead teams, conduct meetings, give direction/delegate, and train/coach/mentor employees.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3 or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
