Position: Industrial Pump Mechanic

Location: Mobile, AL

Pay: $27/hour

Experience: At least 5 years of experience inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial pumps.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Clark Personnel is seeking an Experienced Industrial Pump Mechanic to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of pumps, including centrifugal, gear, and diaphragm models.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and alignment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Replace worn or damaged components such as seals, bearings, and impellers.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals to troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct vibration analysis and pump alignment for high-demand industrial systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report issues to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company and industry standards.

Position Requirements:

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for industrial pump systems.
• Knowledge of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and specialty pumps used in steel and paper mill operations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Preventive maintenance and repair of pumps, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Precision measuring skills using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
