Aerotek is seeking Structural Welders for long-term shipbuilding projects in Mobile, AL. This contract role offers $45.00/hour plus $140/day per diem, with weekly pay and on-site work in a demanding naval environment.
Welders will perform multi-pass fillet and butt welds, using Pulse Arc (GMAW-P), MIG, FCAW, and SMAW, on large-scale vessels while meeting MIL-STD-248D testing and safety standards. Prior shipyard experience and Pulse Arc proficiency are required.
