Role snapshot
Operate CNC turning and milling equipment by following setup sheets and job travelers
Load/unload parts and run cycles safely and efficiently
Perform in-process checks with calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges
Escalate tooling wear, broken tools, or quality concerns to the lead or supervisor immediately
Support setups: work-holding changes, tool swaps, and material staging
Keep machines and the work cell clean and organized
Record accurate part counts and production data Comply with all safety policies; wear PPE at all times
Must-haves1+ year of CNC or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and tolerances
Experience with calipers and micrometers
Learning mindset and motivation to progress to CNC Machinist Detail orientation and quality focus
Reliable attendance; steady focus during repetitive tasks
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
Nice-to-haveNIMS credentials, technical school training, or SkillsUSA machining competition experience.
